The third edition of WHO GOT LIZ GARDNER is now available and aside from greater spacing for easier reading, there is a SIGNIFICANT change. Eric Allen is now Eric Alexander.
It was my deliberate intention to picque reader curiousity by using my real maiden name, Liz Gardner + my husband’s real name, Eric Allen, thus = Elizabeth Allen “Hey, that’s the author’s name!” As a result, most readers would determine that Liz and the characters are mostly real. And so they have. Readers and critics alike.
Unfortunately, the revelation has intruded on the personal and private lives of me and my family.
It is for this reason alone that I have changed Eric’s last name to Alexander in the third and all future editions of WGLG as well as the upcoming Discovering Arugula.
For my existing fans, nothing else whatsoever has changed. It’s just a name and afterall, what’s in a name?
